We recommend a 3-5 day visit to fully immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings, connect with nature, and retreat from the busy life of the outside world.

While the accommodations are simple, they enhance the authenticity of the adventure. You can sleep on comfortable mats in your tent or directly under the open sky, surrounded by the peaceful quiet of the Sahara. arrival in djanet
After arriving on a night flight at Tiska Djanet Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your comfortable desert accommodation near Djanet or the Duneya Tours guesthouse. Here, you can relax and recharge, in anticipation for the exciting adventure that lies ahead.
day 1
After a late breakfast, we’ll take a short trip into town to visit the market and purchase souvenirs. Lunch will be served back at either the Duneya Tours house or in the desert nearby. In the afternoon, we'll head to Tikobawin and at night, bivouac.
day 2
Explore the cliffs and labyrinth of Tilélène, passing through Tikobawin’s arches and pre-Islamic tombs. Picnic along the way before reaching Essendilène valley to collect firewood and set up camp. Enjoy a tea ceremony and traditional Tadjella bread under the stars.
day 3
Relax in Essendilène with a walk to the oasis and guelta. Departure toward Erg Admer and spend the night camping in its dunes.
day 4
After breakfast, hike to Tifertessine and Timras near Erg Admer, have a picnic, and visit Djanet’s market and artisanal shops. Overnight in the desert nearby or at the Duneya Tours house.
day 5
Visit the Museum and Tisras engravings, followed by a picnic in the dunes. In the afternoon, explore the Pre-Islamic Tomb, Elephant rock, and Crying Cow before heading back to Djanet for dinner and airport departure.
